Mortal Kombat 12 Has Been Announced And Is Releasing This Year

Get over here!

It’s a pretty obvious one that a new Mortal Kombat game would surface at some point, but Warner Bros has just confirmed on an earnings call that Mortal Kombat 12 is officially set to release later this year.

This is earlier than anyone expected, but President David Zaslav confirmed that both Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Mortal Kombat 12 would both launch this year with “ambitious launch projections”.

We don’t know a lot about Mortal Kombat 12, with NetherRealm Studios not saying much about the game, but if it is coming later this year, it shouldn’t be too long before we hear more about it.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
