Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, the newly-remastered version of Grasshopper Manufacture’s 2012 cult hit, finally has a release date. The game will be launching September 25th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. A physical version will also be made available, and pre-orders are set to open soon. 2y3s2r
Alongside the release date announcement, the first full trailer was released showing how protagonist Juliet, her body-less boy, Nick, and a number of the other game’s characters and villains will look in the new version, with a glimpse at gameplay footage to boot.
Over on Twitter/X, developer Dragami Games confirmed that, “RePOP is a definitive version of the game which leaves the story unchanged, with the focus on quality-of-life improvements and additional gameplay content.”
The trailer also confirms the game will ship with two modes, an Original Mode that’s based on the original version of the game, or the RePOP Mode which has less violence and instead uses “pop-art” damage effects.
