Snyder announced the news on a Man of Steel live stream this morning. He followed up the news with the below statement:
“I want to thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of ing artists and allowing their true visions to be realized. Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the SnyderCut movement for making this a reality,” said Snyder.
Snyder had completed majority of the work for Justice League, before having to move away from the project due to a family tragedy. It’s reported that WarnerBros will allocate a further 20-30 million dollars of budget to complete the cut, and of the original cast may have to return to shoot scenes.
